As part of the expansion of our SmartOffice solution, we are recruiting an IoT & Smart Systems Intern to support the development, integration, and monitoring of our smart systems:
environmental sensors (CO₂, smoke, motion, humidity, temperature)
energy and electrical monitoring
smart building systems (connected switches, IR modules, automation)
real-time dashboards and alerts
Your mission will be to contribute to the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and evolution of Kaikai's IoT and Smart Systems solutions.

Responsabilities
- Install and configure sensors and connected equipment.
- Ensure connectivity (Wi-Fi, MQTT, API, etc.).
- Test, calibrate, and validate installations at customer sites.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Support dashboard configuration (Grafana, Metabase).
- Set up automatic alerts (WhatsApp, Telegram, email).
- Participate in optimizing automation workflows.
- Test new sensors, modules, and smart building solutions.
- Create mini-prototypes and Proof-of-Concept (PoC).
- Monitor IoT and smart energy technologies.
Skills
- Good foundation in IoT: ESP32, Raspberry Pi, MQTT, REST API.
- Understanding of communication protocols (HTTP, WebSockets, etc.).
- Good foundation in electrical engineering or energy (an asset).
- Knowledge of dashboards
- Desired skills in automation or scripting.
- Attention to detail and rigor.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Good team spirit and clear communication.
- Organization and autonomy.
- Curiosity to test, experiment, and improve solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, electronics, telecommunications, software engineering, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of IoT: microcontrollers, sensors, connectivity.
- Knowledge of development (Python or JavaScript).
- Knowledge of networks (Wi-Fi, configuration, diagnostics).
- Keen interest in connected objects, smart energy, and embedded systems.
- Ability to document clearly and follow procedures.
- Motivation, curiosity, and availability for the entire duration of the internship.
- Good command of French and ideally English, both written and spoken.
